Item Description

In ancient Japan, it is said that people fumigate leaves of atractylodes or sagebrush to cleanse (disinfect and pest control) their houses and thatched roofs.
KANKENKOU "Cleansing" was developed to bring back this ancient custom to modern times. In order to achieve a clean environment, not only for residential space but for medical facility and senior nursing homes, we worked with the pharmaceutical department of Nihon University and did much analysis to confirm the progress.

This KANKENKOU "Cleansing" contain the following ingredients which are all kneaded together: atractylodes lancea roots and cloves, which are both used in Chinese medicine; natural Aomori hiba oil, which is collected by steam distillation; lemongrass and peppermint. Since the incense are made by natural ingredients only and have an antibacterial effect, the ingredients spread all over the room and control odor and bacteria when they are lighted.

The "Beauty" of mind and body will begin with clean air

Shut out mold and bacteria in the room only by lighting the incense!

====Test result====

The antibacterial tests using cultured germs were held at the pharmaceutical department of Nihon University. Using two 14.4 little plastic containers with sheet of cultured germs, one container (container A) left as is, and the other (container B) put 3.6 inch kindled incense and covered well. After one hour, took the sheets out and measured the number of germ colony. The result is shown on Table 1, indicating the incense has strong antibacterial effect.
*) Number of colony — Number of gathered bacteria on culture medium
