[Techniques used for Bats on a moonlight night]

As for the building on the background, it is polished using nacre (inner shell layers) and genuine gold powders. Togidashi Maki-e technique is used.

The Moon part:
Genuine silver powders are sprinkled and then polished to create a gritty texture. "Hira (Flat) Maki-e" Technique is used.

The Bats part:
Gold "Taka (Raised) Maki-e" is used.
Small bats are drawn with "Hira (Flat) Maki-e" Technique.
Gold powders are used to create a lie of bats hair and their frames.
